Check out the Awesome: Creston Wildflower

Image

Creston Wildflower K-3 has been learning that sharing stories can be done in many ways from oral storytelling, songs, books, and even art, as well as traditional teachings using the medicine wheel or tipi rings.

Students learned where traditional art materials may come from identifying different colours in nature and throughout seasons. Using ink, students drew their own meaningful story on fabric. Soon they will sew them to felt backgrounds and take them home to share with their families.
