This April and May, students from Erickson School, Adam Robertson Elementary School, and Canyon-Lister Elementary school are gathering at Kootenay River Secondary School for a series of fun workshops leading up to Pow wow. Students will have the opportunity to learn fancy shawl dancing from talented Ktunaxa dancer Cherie Inismi Luke, and grass dancing from the legendary Jared Basil. Students will also hone their drumming skills. We look forward to sharing our new dance moves at the Pow wow!
