A Métis Elder in the Nelson community, Bob Adams, has passed into the spirit world.

Bob was an active member of the West Kootenay Métis Society and was president for many years. He shared his culture, knowledge, and history of Métis peoples in many classrooms across SD8. He is remembered for his generosity, knowledge, and his laughter. The impact he had on students and staff over the years was immense and long lasting.

Years ago, AbEd created some videos to honour Elders in our community, including one from Bob.
