Truth and Reconciliation week was special at Salmo Elementary School.  Not only was there an amazing display of support through the display of Orange Shirts, but there was a softness among the primary students, and a depth of curiosity and understanding among the intermediate grades. September was a busy month filled with adjustments, new routines, and new connections.  Jesse and Liv, Aboriginal Academic Success Teachers, had a fabulous time connecting with our new Grade 10 cohort and reconnecting with 11s and 12s and are thrilled to have the opportunity to work together on creating a rich, exciting, Ab Ed program for the 2022/23 school year!
